Saint Eustathius, also known as Eustace, was a significant figure in Christian history. He was a bishop of Beroea and later became the bishop of Antioch around the time of the Council of Nicaea in 325 AD1. Eustathius played a crucial role in opposing the followers of the condemned doctrine of Arius at the Council of Nicaea1. Unfortunately, due to the intrigues of the pro-Arian Bishop Eusebius of Caesarea, Eustathius was deposed by a synod at Antioch around 327-330 AD and banished to Thrace by the Roman emperor Constantine the Great
